Remembering Thomas Mesheski

Thomas Michael Mesheski, retired Plant Services worker, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks.

Thomas Mesheski was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Ardoch, N.D., to Frank and Eleanor (Pokrzywinski) Mesheski. He attended country school near Ardoch and later St. Michael’s grade school until the 8th grade. On Nov. 24, 1962, he was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Galle at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks.

He worked for Ardoch area farmers.  In 1963, he began working at UND Plant Services. He retired after 33 years.

He is survived by his son Michael (Tanya) Mesheski and grandson Casey, of Grand Forks; daughter Amy, of Salem, Ore., brother Daniel Mesheski, Grand Forks, and Barbara (Mesheski) LeGore (John) of Arvilla, N.D.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Raphael and Robert; and sisters, Loretta, Alice, and Harriet.
