Remembering Blake Hanson

The University of North Dakota has learned that UND student Blake Hanson passed away on April 25, 2024. Blake was from Tolna, N.D., and was majoring in Elementary Education in the College of Education & Human Development.

We extend our deepest condolences to Blake’s family, friends, and classmates. They are all in our thoughts and prayers.

The loss of someone we cared about affects us all, and we have a number of resources available to both our online and on-campus students, which are listed below.

I hope everyone will take some time to remember Blake and the kindness he showed to others and the positive impact he had on those who knew him.
