Remembering Tyler Hutchinson

On Friday, October 10, the University of North Dakota learned that UND student Tyler Hutchinson passed away. Tyler was from Pekin, I.L., and transferred to UND at the start of the fall 2023 semester to explore academic interests ranging from aviation to nutrition and dietetics. Tyler also worked at the UND Student Wellness Center.

We extend our deepest condolences to Tyler’s family, friends, classmates and Wellness Center co-workers. They are all in our thoughts and prayers.

The loss of someone we care about affects us all, and we have a number of resources available to both our on-campus and online students, which are listed below. I hope everyone will take some time to remember the positive impact Tyler had on the lives of others.

UND President
