Remembering Jan Strinden

Jan Strinden

It is with regret that we announce the death of Jan Strinden.

“Kathy and I were deeply saddened to learn the news of Jan Strinden’s recent passing,” said President Armacost. “She, along with her husband, Earl Strinden, longtime leader of the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, holds a special legacy at UND and among the students, staff, faculty and alumni she served during 50-plus years of dedication to this great University.  At this time, we wish upon Earl, the Strinden’s five children, extended family and friends a sense of peace, knowing that Jan’s remarkable impact will long endure at UND.”

A celebration of life event is slated for this summer with details to be announced at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the UND Alumni Association & Foundation’s Earl and Jan Strinden Endowment.
