Student Opportunities

This spring, UND’s Energy Sovereignty for Indigenous People (ESIP) Global Initiative is sponsoring workshops via Zoom that are open to all UND faculty and graduate students.

Dr. Robert Baldwin, Principal Scientist and Group Manager at the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory, will be holding an information session on Tuesday, Sept. 12 starting at 5:15 p.m. in Harrington Hall Room 324.

With deadlines set for May 10, 2023, you can receive financial support and awards through the Peer Mentor Application ($500 scholarship), Grand Challenge Scholar Program ($500 per semester and up to $6000 in program support), and CEM Student Survey ($50 Gift card).

Students: do you have at least two years of undergraduate studies remaining until you receive your Bachelor’s degree? Are you interested in being part of a Research Team? Then the UND MARC/U-RISE Program may be for you!

During Engineers Week, referred to as E-Week at UND, student organizations across the college are hosting a series of events from Feb 21-24. Come join us at one (or more!) of these events during E-Week at UND, sponsored by the Dean’s Engineering Council.

This scholarship provides financial assistance to Indigenous students in CEM. Awards are based on financial need, academic performance, participation in AISES and other Indigenous student organizations, and community outreach events.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your answers will be anonymous. After completing the survey, you can enter your email address if you want to be entered into a random drawing for one of four $25 Amazon gift cards.

Continental Resources will be visiting UND during the Fall 2022 Career Expo and at an earlier information session at the College of Engineering & Mines.  They are looking to hire for their 2023 summer internship program, specifically environmental and health & safety interns.
