The UND College of Engineering & Mines is welcoming the entire UND community to a week of exciting and insightful engineering-related activities, starting with the Engineers Week Kick-Off Carnival at the Memorial Union.

UND College of Engineering & Mines hosts North Dakota Signature VEX Robotics tourney January 9-10, 2026, in Grand Forks’ Alerus Center.

On January 28, Dr. Ryan Adams, Dean of the College of Engineering & Mines, will be a featured speaker in the 18:83 Speaker Series.

On Sept. 10, UND will host the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Innovation, Workforce and Research Conference at the Memorial Union for a daylong AI and Autonomy Summit.

Members of the campus, Grand Forks and business communities are welcome to attend and interact with students about their projects.

Volunteers are needed for the FIRST LEGO League State Robotics Championship on February 8, 2025. Sign up by February 4 to allow time to review judging documents.

During this session, participants will look at the many aspects and benefits of OERs, and then focus on the modern trend of online textbook publishing.

The CEM Teaching Council is excited to invite faculty and graduate students to join the upcoming book club centered on the groundbreaking report, “The Inclusive Engineering Mindset” – a vision for change in undergraduate engineering and engineering technology education.
