Exciting changes were implemented over the summer to recruiting processes.
Interview Scheduling

Your guide to recruitment
UND’s Recruitment Procedure for Staff and Faculty serves as an excellent reference tool designed to streamline the hiring process and ensure consistency across departments. This formal guide provides clear steps and best practices, making it easier to identify top talent and make informed decisions. By utilizing this standardized process, departments can enhance collaboration, maintain compliance, and build stronger teams. This valuable resource can be found on the UND HR Forms Page as well as the Hiring & Onboarding Resources page.
Changes to Student Employment Recruitment
Competencies/Learning Outcomes
We will now add competencies/Learning Outcomes to student job postings. This has been added to the required competency job card box, please do not delete. The learning outcomes your department chooses from the NACE competencies attached will give student employees working in this position the skills they will gain working in this position.
Status Change Information
Keeping candidate statuses updated is an important part of the hiring process to provide clear and timely communication to your candidates. The status guide is available to help understand each status and how/when to use it.
Offer Card Funding Change
Student Employment acknowledges that your student’s funding is an important part of your departments budget. For those departments, whose offer card has been approved for both Federal Work Study (FWS) and Institutional (INST) funding listed for a job will now have the funding updated during the offer card status to reflect the correct funding status for the student.
