Remind Your Team to “Check Your Check”
HR recommends employees regularly review their paychecks.
Due to Open Enrollment and premium changes, employees will see a difference in paycheck deductions. As a reminder, UND pays our insurance premiums a month in advance. (December paychecks pay for January premiums). These changes are reflected in the deductions of December 2024 paychecks. New flex election amounts will not be reflected until the first paycheck in 2025, dated January 15. As a supervisor, this is an opportunity to remind employees to review their paycheck deductions.

Review Current Paycheck Deductions
Login via through Employee Self Service.
- Select the Payroll tile
- Select Paychecks.
- Review your most recent pay advice to be sure your benefits and taxes look correct.
- If this is an employee’s first UND paycheck since making changes or initially enrolling, insurance premiums may be higher as UND submits premiums a full month in advance.
