UND’s Getting a New Website

The headline isn’t a joke; we’re really getting a new website.

As you may be aware, UND released a RFP for a comprehensive Website Redevelopment Project. We’re partnering with mStoner to help us through this high stakes and complex project. With 200+ websites under its belt, we’re confident mStoner is uniquely qualified and brilliantly creative.

Take a look at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Saint Louis University to see recent work by mStoner. Both sites use our same content management system, OmniUpdate.

Why Now?

UND’s last site-wide redesign project was done in 2010. Since then, everything “web” has changed. Improvements in content syndication, the rise of social media, and the mainstream adoption of mobile devices all drastically changed user expectations.

Your Role

This project isnʼt us just telling you what weʼre doing to keep you in the loop. We want your input, feedback and guidance. Our goal is to create a new web presence that helps you do your job better, helps your unit/department/division/college meet its goals, positively showcases the UND brand, and advances the University’s mission. We canʼt do it without your help.

Here’s what you can do now:

  1. Subscribe to the UND Website Redevelopment blog to get updates.
  2. Read the RFP to become familiar with the project scope.
  3. Talk to your Marketing Council representative about your needs and expectations.
  4. Start thinking about your website goals.

What’s Next

We’re working on the 12–18 month project schedule with mStoner and expect to have a project kick-off meeting by the end of 2016.
